FAQ

Is this a government website?

Not affiliated with SAM.gov, Grants.gov or any government agency. SAM.gov, Grants.gov, and USAspending are the sources. We are Ridgeline Apps LLC, a private company in Ohio.

Where do the listings come from?

The public SAM.gov Contract Opportunities file and the public Grants.gov XML extract. We also know how to ask USAspending about past awards. We do not scrape the websites.

Do you cover city, county, or state bids?

Not in this version. Phase 1 is federal contracts and federal grants. State and local sources are later, and only where the terms allow it.

What does it cost?

The free plan is one saved search and a weekly email. Pro would be unlimited searches and a daily email. The price is not decided. The pricing page says that in plain sight.

How do I sign in?

Email a magic link. There is no password to forget. The link works once, for half an hour.

Can I stop the emails?

Yes. Every alert has an unsubscribe link that works in one click. You can also pause or delete a search from your account. Pausing one search leaves the others alone.

Do I need a SAM.gov account?

To bid, yes, and registering there is free. You do not need one to search here or to read the email.

Will you catch every opportunity?

No. Files update overnight, notices get amended, and a filter can be too tight or too loose. Read the official posting before you bid or apply.

Do you write the summaries with AI?

The default is a rule that pulls a plain sentence from the notice. An AI summary is optional, off unless it is configured, and labeled when it is used.

Who do I write if something looks wrong?

Wil Hurley at Ridgeline Apps LLC. Email [email protected].
