INTRODUCTION The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a single firm-fixed-price contract for project # 512A5-22-700 design-bid-build EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades Construction project at the VA Medical Center located in Perry Point, MD. Address: 361 Boiler House Road Building 361 Perry Point Perry Point, MD 21902-1103 PROJECT DESCRIPTION The contractor shall provide all tools, equipment, materials, labor, supervision, and management to complete the construction of infrastructure upgrades in compliance with all VA solicitation drawings and specifications, and contract requirements, as prescribed in the RFP solicitation and attachments. Contractor shall completely prepare the site for building operations, including demolition/removal of existing structures. The project scope includes, but is not limited, to the following infrastructure upgrades: install facility fiber throughout the buildings to each telecommunications Room (TR); provide a redundant fiber run throughout the facility to each TR; provide redundant fiber mains to the demarcation room from the provider point; install approximately 100 additional needed data drops; install approximately 75 new electrical outlets throughout the facility; provide additional power in each TR; upgrade facility power distribution, as required; upgrade facility HVAC distribution, as required; conduct
