The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8, VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS), located in San Juan, Puerto Rico, is seeking a business that can provide the following: Karius Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) Infectious Disease Test - The Karius test is a cell-free DNA (cfDNA) diagnostic tool designed to identify a broad spectrum of infectious microorganisms in the blood. Minimum Requirements: (a) Provide all supplies necessary to transport the specimens to include: (1) Lab test request forms (2) Specimen shipping containers with any special preservatives required for specimen preservation (3) Special instructions for handling of specimens (4) Transportation envelopes or packs with tracking air bills (b) Transport samples in such a manner as to ensure the integrity of the specimen.
