From the notice

The Facilities Construction R&A East CMT of the United States Postal Service is soliciting proposals for a Roof Replacement project, at the United States Postal Service owned Jackson Main Office P&DC, 401 E. South St Jackson, MS 32901-9997 Hinds County. Please see attached Summary of Work. The estimated cost of the work is between $5,000,000 and $6,500,000; with construction completion no later than Three hundred (300) calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The solicitation will open October 21, 2026 on USPS eSourcing Coupa (see How to Participate below) and close on November 20, 2026. A pre-proposal meeting for this project will be held on October 27, 2026 at 10:30 am, (local time) on site. Attendance is not mandatory but is strongly recommended. The call in number for this pre-proposal meeting is 716-427-1401 Code: 803314# Technical inquiries are to be addressed to Ed Roscoe, Architect/Engineer, ROTH Bros Inc, at (330) 727-4488, or the USPS Project Manager, Joshua McKall at [email protected]. The USPS is concerned with making an award to the supplier striking the appropriate balance of technical features and price. The USPS will not, however, make award to a higher priced offer which provides only marginal additional technical value. As technical scores become closer, then price becomes more important as selection. However, the USPS may not necessarily make an award at the lowest price to achieve a small price savings if better value can be achieved wi
