Solicitation, C-5 MLG Trunnion Bearing NSN: 3120-00-766-2056UC Part No. 4F23832-103A The Air Force has a requirement for a depot-level re-manufacturing effort for the C-5 Trunnion Bearing. This item is a large, plain self-aligning, spherical bearing. It is the main pivot bearing used during the retraction and extension of the C-5 MLG. The anticipated re-manufacturing service will provide serviceable assets to meet yearly demand for Air Force field level and C-5 Programmed Depot Maintenance (PDM). This re-manufacturing effort will utilize a Requirements Type Contract. Contract period of performance will be five (5) years. It will consist of a one (1) year basic period and four (4) one (1) year ordering periods. To be eligible for award, offerors must be on the Government's pre-approved qualified source list OR submit a complete SAR package that meets all requirements specified in the Source Pre-Qualification Requirements document and the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The USAF anticipates the acquisition will be Full and Open Competition, Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. The Best Estimated Quantities (BEQ) for each ordering period are listed below.
