AMENDMENT 0001 10/21/2026 The purpose of this announcement is to post Amendment 0001 to the SIR which provides answers to vendor questions and revises the SIR as a result. The proposal due date is changed to 4:00 PM Eastern Time on 4 November 2026. SIR 9/14/2026 (1) INTRODUCTION: The FAA’s William J. Hughes Technical Center for Advanced Aerospace has a requirement for Armed Security Guard Services. (2) CONTRACT TYPE AND PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: A single contract will be awarded with a 2-month Transition, a 12-month Base period and four (4) 12-month Option periods. (3) NATURE OF COMPETITION: The effort will be competed as a Total Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Business (SEDB) 8(a) set-aside using best value tradeoff procedures. (4) STANDARD LANGUAGE: This announcement does not obligate the Government to award any effort resultant from this Solicitation/Screening Information Request (SIR). The FAA will not pay any costs associated with responding to or providing a submission in response to this posting. (5) MANDATORY SITE VISIT: A mandatory site visit is scheduled for 9:00 AM Eastern Time on 29 September 2026. As specified in Section L.4 of the SIR, Offerors planning to attend the mandatory site visit must confirm attendance in writing via email to the CO no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Time on 22 September 2026.
