Notice of Intent to Sole Source 1. Procurement Office Background The Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Yuma Proving Ground (MICC-YPG), on behalf of the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona, is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of meeting the requirement described herein. This notice is issued to attempt to bolster government and industry coordination and partnership, as well as to determine if any other qualified commercial entities possess the capabilities to fulfill this requirement. 2. Scope of Requirement & Sole Source Intent The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract on a sole-source basis to Motorola Solutions, Inc. (809 Pinnacle Dr Ste G, Linthicum Heights, MD, 21090-2535). USAYPG currently operates an aging, proprietary Motorola Land Mobile Radio (LMR) network system (P25 digital system) manufactured by Motorola Solutions, Inc. This requirement is for the procurement of infrastructure maintenance and support subscription services, which include: Advanced Services & Cyber Support: 24/7/365 remote technical support provided via Motorola’s secure Operations Center. Diagnostics & Restorations: Real-time network management tools and OEM-level diagnostics capable of identifying, resolving, and restoring operations during critical system failures.
