This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Forest Service (USFS), Idaho Panhandle National Forests, has a requirement for the procurement and delivery of one (1) Utility Task Vehicle (UTV) and one (1) compatible all-season track kit. The equipment will be utilized by the Fire/Fuels program for wildland fire suppression and prescribed fire operations over severe, uneven terrain. All equipment must be delivered new, fully assembled, fluids serviced, and in a 100% turnkey state ready for immediate field deployment upon arrival. Note: The UTV does not have to arrive with the track set physically installed on the vehicle.
